Top 10 People Who Have Lived Far Too Long

There are some of us who want to live forever while the rest of us are happy if we manage to shake a limb or two at our 80th birthday party. The following probably belonged to the former category.

1. Jeanne Calment
Jeanne Calment was about 122 years old when she died in 1997! She roamed the streets on her bicycle till she blew out 100 candles and took up fencing when she was 85 years old. She used olive oil to cook her food and found it relaxing when she rubbed it onto her skin. Not only that, but she also ate about 2.2 pounds of chocolate every week and smoked till her 117th birthday.

3. Sarah Knauss

No, we are not talking about the telekinetic teenager from Stephen King’s “Carrie”. This Carrie C. White was born in 1874 and died in 1991. Interestingly, she did not die of old age but of a nervous breakdown. Now what could have made her that anxious? Maybe looked into the mirror.
