Shanghai World Financial Center - 492 meters

Shanghai World Finacial Center has also 101 stories as Taipei 101 but its height is 492 meters. The tallest building in China was inaugurated in 2008 and hosts several offices and hotels.The building has 377,300 square meters and fourth floor observation deck of 94, 97 and 100. It was design by Kohn Pedersrn Fox Associsutes.Total costs were about $ 1.2 billion.

Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – 452 meters

Petronas Tower Petronas Tower 1 and 2 were built in 1998 and have a height of 452 meters is now the highest twin towers in the world. Patronas Towers were also the tallest towers from 1998 to 2004.Linked by a bridge suspended at 170 feet above the ground, the towers are each 88 floors, served by 76 lifts. . It was design by Cesar Pelli .Total costs were about $1.6 billion.

Nanjing Greenland Financial Center - 450 meters

The building is situated in Nanjing,China. The second tallest building in China has office space and commercial space in the lower section and restaurants and a public observatory, at the top. Building design was created by the same architects who designed and Burj Dubai(Adrian Smith and Marshall Strabala).

Willis Tower - 442 meters

Americans are not the first but boasts with Willis Tower in Chicago, opened long before those who now hold supremacy in the world: 1974. The tower includes 108 levels. Former name of the building was Sears Towers which in 2009 was changed to Willis Tower.It was design by Bruce Graham.

Guangzhou West Tower - 440 meters

The building is situated in Zhujiang Avenue West in Tianhe District at Guangzhou, China. The construction started in 2005 and is expected to finish in 2010. First 66 floors will be used for office purposes, floor 67 and 68 will be used for mechanical equipment whereas 69 to 99 will be used as hotel.It was design by Wilkinson Eyre.

Jin Mao Tower in Shanghai, China – 421 meters

Building in Shanghai was inaugurated in 1998 and has a height of 421 meters and 88 floors. It is the highest observation point in China. The tower features offices, restaurants and observation decks.It was design by Skdimore, Owings and Merrill.

Two International Finance Centre - 416 meters

The tower has 88 floors and is one of the two buildings of the International Finance Centre in Hong Kong, China. Couple of buildings were built between 1996 and 2003 and consists of two office buildings, a mall and Four Seasons Hotel (55 floors).

Trump International Hotel & Tower - 415 meters

The second building in Chicago was completed in 2009. Before the attacks of 11 September 2001, the engineers wanted to make the Trump International Hotel & Tower the tallest building in the world, but the fear of the danger of terrorist has reduced ambitions.It was designed by Adrian Smith of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill.
