Gold Rock Burmese

This rock is the most common sight. It's something special just by the placement. It seems like an example of perfect balance found in nature .We find the Burmese in Moun Kyaiktiyo .

The locals consider sacred and give value to anything unusual like thisrock . They melt gold ( despite the fact that most people in the Burmeseare too poor ) and have covered the entire rock with it and gave it the name Golden Rock . They said yet it is the third most holy site in Burmese .

At the top of the cliff they built a small pagoda , which is also covered with pure gold . This is a nice example of balance in nature and looks truly amazing . The rock looks like it will fall at any time but in fact are quite stable .
