Detroit’s decline has been well documented, no building more so than Michigan Central Station. With virtually the same design as New York Central Station, Michigan Central Station is vast and empowering – yet the stations could not be more different. Michigan Central Station is derelict, like much of Detroit, however the community is fighting to bring new life to this magnificent structure and the surrounding area. I have collected images from a few photographers which show the magnificent building in its derelict state.
