The Tataouine is a city located in southern Tunisia.
In this town there are cave dwellings of Berber, which is made in such a way as to provide protection and dew.

The area is known for its desert castles (in Arabic ksour), abandoned villages with beautiful domed buildings.
The city's name became famous when filmmaker George Lukas filming the movie "Star Wars" in different regions of Tunisia.
