The 10 most beautiful Greek villages

Every Greek votes for his own village as being the most beautiful of them all.
I am a city boy myself so this selection is i believe somewhat less prejudiced .
The villages are in random order and i had to pick them out of a list of 40 or so.
Syrrako

SYRRAKO A village draped in grey stone Syrrako is perched on a steep slope of Peristeri mountain 1200 m above sealevel and 52 km southeast of the city of Ioannina in Epirus. Each and every building in the village, from lowly huts to rich mansions is  part of a stone built unity.Stone pebbled streets and stone fountains complete the magic.
Arachova
ARACHOVA The famous village of Arachova  is the most cosmopolitan Greek summer resort. The stone-made clock in the village square welcomes visitors and the main town street leads to to temptational greek tavernas with gourmet and local Greek cuisine.
