The aircraft of the future...!
H U.S. space agency NASA has selected three projects relating to the future generation of passenger aircraft with alternative and more affordable propulsion systems. The three companies were selected plans are Lockheed Martin, Boeing and Northrop Grumman. In late 2010 the three companies received a contract from NASA to launch the development phase of their projects in 2011.Every aircraft in accordance with the requirements should be able to travel with financial 0,85 mach speed range have 7000 miles (approximately 11 km) and can carry between 25 and 50 tonnes of cargo. According to the schedule or aircraft that is chosen will ultimately have to be ready in 2015. The design of the Lockheed Martin is the most conventional of all with an engine profan into a special niche, focusing more on fuel economy plan of Northrop Grumman combines dual-tube fuselage with a common propellant system with emphasis on increased capacity for passenger Boeing's plan as unconventional as that of Northrop Grumman following the "recipe" of the fly wing which combines both increased load and increased aerodynamic efficiency .
