Located in the state of Oregon in the United States on the precipice of a volcano. The lake with a depth of 650 feet, formed about 7500 years before the collapse of the volcano Mazama and famous for its intense blue color.It is also known for the "Old Man of the Lake", a full size tree stump is now a floating vertically in the lake for more than a century. Due to the cold water, the tree is fairly well preserved.
