Asustek Planing for Launches New Transformer Tablet Android 4.0 with Quad Core Processor

The launch of Android OS 4.0 turned out toattract the attention of Asustek Computer Inc. to make a tablet. Asustek Chairman,Joneey Shih said that his company plans tomake Android-based tablet 4.0 at the endof this year. Previously, Asustek also hasother tablet products, namely Transformer.At a technology conference, Shih said thatthe tablet will use Nvidia's quad-core chips.With the new tablet, it expects to maintainsales of transformers tablets. He said thetablet that uses the Android OSHoneycomb, this year recorded sales of up to two million units.

 
Analysts had been expectingAsustek will be very difficult to compete in the market.Moreover, the market is currently dominated by two tablets being the world's majorelectronics companiesnamely Apple with iPadnya, and Samsung with Galaxy Tab.
