Over the centuries, Afghanistan was a busy crossroad of trade routes of the Silk Road. Place profitable trade and intersections of spheres of influence of ancient civilizations: Babylon, Asher, India and China.
Presenting your attention the exhibits that were part of the exhibition “Afghanistan: Crossroads of the Ancient World,” which opened at the British Museum. In total, the exhibition put up about 200 objects that represent the ancient treasures found in Tilla-Tepe, which in Persian means “golden hill”.
